UGLi – Although the Askwith Media Library has an unparalleled collection of modern, classical, and German expressionist films, it has been often criticized for the lack of an adequate erotica collection. In response to such criticism, the Shapiro Undergraduate Library has announced the opening of the Kevin Mason Archer Smut Film Collection. The collection, which will debut in late November, boasts over 1,400 classical porno films with new additions added weekly. Additionally, the collection will contain a diverse set of media, such as 35mm films, VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, and even 3D videos.

Kevin Archer, for whom the addition is named, was the primary donor for the collection, supplying 90% of its videos. “I’ve got a lot of porn,” said Archer. “I decided it was selfish of me to hoard it all for myself. Now students throughout the University will finally have first-class access to free porn.”

In addition to the movies, Askwith Media Center will expand its viewing rooms, which can now be rented in ten-minute increments. In the interest of ensuring comfort, the viewing rooms will come with complimentary tissues and a variety of lotions, which can be checked out from the clerk in a wholly judgment-free transaction.

Student response has so far been very positive. “You could say that I’m a connoisseur of the XXX,” said LSA junior Alan Reynolds. “I always felt guilty pirating adult films on the Internet, and there are certain types you just can’t find there, anyway. It’s impossible to find nugget or furniture porn on Bang Bros. This collection, from what I’ve heard, will feature a lot of the highbrow and indie stuff the mainstream Internet industry lacks.”

As well as providing students with on-campus arousal, the University hopes to use the new collection as an educational tool and inspire those who wish to pursue a career in the Adult Film industry. So far, three student-produced films are in pre-production: Inside the Big Ho’s Featuring Brady Choke, Fireside Spanks With Mary Sue Hole-man, and Martha Cock’s Virgin Vault.
