Sequel To Eddie Murphy's Life Planned

Murphy says that the project, whose title has yet to be announced, will probably begin shooting whenever his current life ends, wherever he happens to be located, and on the set of whatever high-budget bomb he's working on at that time, with the idea that the actor who plays him in the sequel will continue where the deceased Murphy left off.
"I'm at heart a dramatic man," Murphy says, adding that he hopes the sequel will feature the same dramatic arc that his first life followed, beginning with great promise and mettle as a humorous critical and social voice, and ending in tragic irrelevance and pathetic money-grubbing opportunism intended to turn a meager profit.
The star of the successful Dreamgirls and the maniacally hilarious Norbit says he's also entertained the possibility that the sequel will attempt to reenact everything that happened in his original life, joking that he hopes "this time we get The Adventures Of Pluto Nash right."
Murphy also has other ideas about making the sequel to his own life a little funnier than the original.
"I've got the line for the scene when I pick the transvestite prostitute on Hollywood Boulevard down. Instead of wearing a look of shock and disgust, I'll turn to the news cameras and say, 'Damn man, I've GOT to start looking up their skirts more carefully!'"
Murphy told Hollywood Insider that he's been kicking around the idea of his life another chance through the forgiving lens of biopic feature film, saying that such a biopic could focus more on the era of his life when your momma was the bloated pathetic one in the room.
Murphy says that such a sequel would feature the remaking of several of his sequels, meaning that the biopic could feature scenes from Dr. Dolittle 2 Two, Another Another 48 Hours, and the big-budget sequel, 192 Hours: To the Max.
The superstar says that the creation of sequels just comes naturally to him.
"The secret to my success as an actor has been to get one idea and ride it out for as long as I can," Murphy says of his long career in comedy, which has featured such hits as Beverly Hills Cop, Beverly Hills Cop II, Beverly Hills Cop III, the upcoming Beverly Hills Cop IV, 48 Hours, Another 48 Hours, Nutty Professor, Nutty Professor II: The Klumps, Dr. Dolittle, Dr. Dolittle 2, Shrek, Shrek 2, Shrek The Third, and the recently announced Shrek 4.
Murphy says he got the idea for building his career on such atavism from another comedic staple, the Police Academy films.
"Those films broke a lot of ground for me as an actor. I remember watching the credits roll on Mission To Moscow back in '94, with just these absolute tears streaming down my face, and finally feeling like the world was ready for Beverly Hills Cop III," Murphy told Insider. "And I used the money from [Beverly Hills Cop III: Mothafuckas STILL Need Policin'] and from Another 48 Hours to fund Nutty Professor. So just think, if y'all hadn't gone to see any of those movies, I would have to start coming up with original ideas."
There's been no word yet on who would play Murphy in the sequel to Murphy's life, as no one besides Murphy has ever attempted to make a sequel to his films for some unexplained reason.
Robin Williams, another actor whose experimented with the feasibility of sequels and who played many of the same comedy clubs as Murphy during the early days in Brooklyn, says he's considering tossing his hat in the ring.
"Murphy, old boy, let me be the first to commend you--sheesh, oh Christ, I'll try out for the part, I only wish I'd been born a black man, mmm, think of it, it'd be like Richard Nixon doing Estelle Getty impressions at the VFW across from the YMCA, the man coming over the intercom, saying, 'HELP! We've just run out of mescaline,' but it's too late, you know what I mean, you've taken the last bite and now you're like Terence Stamp in The Fly going 'Help me, help me!' with your two kids backstage, thinking, 'I don't think so,' while two lesbians snort coke off of each other, 'Hmmmph, ah, my nose feels boo-tiful, baby,' 'Is mine boo-tiful, baby?'"
Early buzz also has Chris Tucker, who had some success in sequel-making with House Party 3 and Rush Hour 2, but who is unfortunately busy on the set of Rush Hour 3*, filling the title role.
Eddie Griffin, who is currently filming the sequel to Chris Tucker's life, has also expressed interest.
